It is so wonderful to see the world. Our eyes are something we use all day long, most of the time, without much thought. It is during times when we behold sunrises and sunsets, majestic landscapes, the night sky and special occasions or events that we typically become conscious of our gift of sight. The challenge with the ordinary and common things in life, otherwise known as the mundane, is not take them for granted. Just because they are there one day, doesn’t mean they will be the next. Use the gift of sight to see the detail and beauty that surrounds you; soak up the awe and visual experiences in life and the mundane will become amazing. Be continually grateful for the gift of sight and you will see the world very differently.
