Coaching Tip #954 “Be You”

by Marcus

What aspects of yourself would you express if, just for today, you choose not to worry about what others think – to not fear the opinions of others? Then, consider why you would not allow yourself to be who you really are simply because of what others might or might not think. When you suppress who you really are to avoid the possible negative opinions of others you are, in essence, allowing them to define you, and determine who you are. If you don’t want to give others this power over you and your life, then just for today, choose to express the real you. Doing so may be scary, but you will feel liberated and the opinions you feared may be much more positive than you assumed they would be.
