Assumptions – conclusions born of misunderstanding – frequently work against you, others and the quality of life in general. They make “fools” of us all, negatively impact relationships and keep us locked in our own little world separated from a grander reality. When you ask questions and listen with the intention to understand, the gaps in your knowing close, eliminating the perceived need to create assumptions in order to make sense of your reality. With understanding in place, there is no need to assume. Be an empowered creator of your reality, and within our overall reality, by choosing to understand as best you can.
