Have you noticed how your happiness comes and goes with the circumstances of your life? That it’s not consistent? Happiness is a state of mind – a reflection of your thoughts. Life is, and it’s how you define the occurrences in your life that creates your happiness or unhappiness, not the circumstances themselves. When notice that YOU have let something, or someone disturb your happiness, stop for a moment, and ask yourself if this is your best course of action – if being unhappy is what you want. If the answer is “no”, then endeavor to change your negative thought to a positive one. The results will surprise you, and you will have taken a powerful step toward gaining control over your state of mind, and therefore, your happiness.
