There is a desire in each of us to experience and feel the joy of living. As we venture through life it has the tendency to become filled with to-dos, responsibilities, pressures and the routine of daily living. In this state, life becomes about getting things done and checking them off the list(s), making it through another day and hanging in there until the next vacation. However, the joy we seek is right there, just behind the veil of all these tasks and beliefs. Yes, there will always be things to get done and there is also the joy of living. Take care of your responsibilities and step outside of your routine as often as you can. Be grateful for your life, make time to simply live and look for and find the very best in yourself, others and life. You will find what you look for including the joy you desire.
